A gift to the endowment gives forever and grows over time, ensuring a sustainable future for the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. Endowment gifts afford naming opportunities, including principal and section chair endowments, concert or series endowments, and various components including touring, education programs, special projects and more. Gifts may also be recognized in honor of or in memory of a loved one.

The orchestra celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2009/2010, and launched its first endowment campaign. On January 19, 2011 the VSO announced that it had successfully reached its ambitious endowment goal to raise $3.5 million. The increased endowment will protect the financial stability of this preeminent Vermont cultural activity, something that it has not had in its long history.
