VSO ChorusVSO Chorus Rehearsal Schedule
We rehearse for up to six weeks before a performance; on Saturdays (during the academic year) and Tuesdays (during the summer). Rehearsal venues vary statewide but include Burlington, Middlebury, Montpelier and Rutland.
It is time to form a chorus for 2 performances of the Mozart and Fauré Requiems on January 28, 2012 in Burlington and January 29, 2012 Rutland. There will be 9 chorus rehearsals, one rehearsal with orchestra and soloists, and a dress rehearsal. The schedule is as follows:
October 15, 1-4 p.m., Elley-Long Music Center, Colchester
October 22, 1-4 p.m., Rutland Trinity Episcopal Church, Rutland
October 29, 1-4 p.m., Elley-Long Music Center, Colchester
November 5, 1-4 p.m., Rutland Trinity Episcopal Church, Rutland

January 27, 7-9:30 p.m. p.m., Elley-Long Music Center, Colchester (with orchestra and soloists)

New Member Auditions
New member auditions will be held on October 5, 2011, beginning at 5 p.m., at Elley-Long Music Center in Colchester. If you know of any experienced choral singers who would be interested, please have them e-mail us to schedule an appointment.
